Champagne​‌​ Doyard is a traditional récoltant-manipulant house in Vertus (Côte des Blancs), with a history going back to 1677 and deeply rooted in the local soil.

• History: The Doyard family has been winegrowers for twelve generations and active as producers for four generations. The official founding as a house dates from 1927, when Maurice Doyard was the first to produce wine under his own name; today the estate is run by Guillaume Doyard, son of Yannick.
• Vineyards: The estate manages 10 hectares of vineyards spread over Vertus (Premier Cru) and the Grand Cru villages Oger, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Avize, Cramant and Aÿ. The vineyard area consists of more than 95% Chardonnay, with a small share of Pinot Noir in Vertus.
• Method: Doyard takes a varied approach: organic viticulture in Vertus and Oger, biodynamics in Avize and Cramant, and rational farming elsewhere. The vineyards are largely worked with horses to preserve the soil structure. In the cellar each plot is vinified separately in barrels and the wine spends at least 48 months on the yeast, which produces complex, mineral and intense champagnes.
• Champagnes: The range includes the Révolution (Brut Nature from old vines), the Cuvée Vendémiaire (BLP blend), Blanc de Blancs (Premier and Grand Cru), Les Lumières, Clos de l'Abbaye and La Libertine (douce). The champagnes are known for their finesse, purity and pronounced terroir character.
