Champagne Dhondt-Grellet is a family estate in Flavigny, close to Avize on the edge of the Côte des Blancs.
- History: In 1986 Eric Dhondt and Edith Grellet decided to stop selling their grapes to négociants and to make their own champagne. Today their son Adrien runs the estate together with his sister Alice.
- Vineyards and terroir: The estate of around 6 hectares has Chardonnay in Premier Cru and Grand Cru sites of the Côte des Blancs, Pinot Noir in the Vallée de la Marne and a few parcels of Chardonnay in the Sézannais.
- Winemaking and style: Adrien Dhondt is strongly influenced by Burgundian winemaking and focuses on terroir-driven champagnes in which Chardonnay plays the leading role. He has also launched a small négociant project.
- Cuvées: The cuvées include Les Nogers, a Premier Cru Blanc de Blancs from old vines in Cuis, Les Terres Fines (Premier Cru Blanc de Blancs), Le Bateau from Cramant and Roc Solare.
