Champagne​‌​ Christian Bourmault is a family business based in Avize (Grand Cru) in the Côte des Blancs, founded in 1870 by Ernest and Hermance Bourmault. The estate is currently run by Christian Bourmault and his son Anthony, with support from Yveline, and encompasses a heritage of six generations.

• Vineyards: The estate manages 6.5 hectares of vineyards, of which 4 hectares of Chardonnay in Avize and Cuis, and 2.5 hectares of Pinot Noir in the Marne valley. The vineyards are farmed according to organic farming principles (not certified, except for the Clos Bourmault), with an emphasis on biodiversity and natural flora.
• Approach: The champagnes are entirely vinified and aged in oak barrels (barriques) with regular bâtonnage (stirring of the dead yeasts). This process lasts at least 7-8 months for vinification and at least 36 months on the dead yeasts. The style is characteristic of the Côte des Blancs: elegant, pure and terroir-driven.
• Champagnes: The range includes various cuvées, including:
• Clos Bourmault: An exclusive Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs from a walled vineyard of less than 1 hectare, often Brut Nature and aged for a long time (e.g. millésime 2012).
• Cuvée Grand Eloge: A 100% Chardonnay Brut.
• Cuvée Les Fêtes: A single-plot 100% Chardonnay Brut.
• R de Rosa: A unique rosé made via skin contact (95% Chardonnay, 5% Pinot Noir).
• Cuvée Hermance: A mix of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay.
• Lettre à Terre: Another 100% Chardonnay expression.
