Champagne Boude Baudin is a family business in Cormoyeux (Vallée de la Marne), founded in 1993 by Nathalie Baudin and José Boude, who united two historic vineyard estates from the 1900s. The estate is currently run by the fifth generation, including Benjamin Boude, and has 5 hectares of vineyards with soils of limestone and fossil shells.
The viticulture is HVE and VDC certified and includes the classic grape varieties Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and the rare Petit Meslier. The approach combines traditional methods, such as hand harvesting and the rare dégorgement à la volée (disgorging without freezing), with respect for nature and minimal intervention.
The range includes, among others, Brut de B, Chardonnay Blanc de Blancs, Vieilles Vignes Millésimé, Saint Clément, and the innovative Ice Touch. The champagnes are blended from the three main varieties, with the exception of the 100% Chardonnay cuvées, and are labelled under the Appellation Champagne.
