Boonen is a champagne estate of récoltants-manipulants in Festigny, in the Vallée de la Marne. Julien Boonen, from a line of four generations of winegrowers, took over the family heritage with his wife Julie to write their own story, with a mix of tradition and fantasy.
Vineyards
- 9 hectares spread over 58 parcels in the Cirque de Festigny.
- Plantings: 6 hectares of Meunier, 2 hectares of Chardonnay and 1 hectare of Pinot Noir.
Methods
- Picking into small crates and cooling of the grapes in a refrigerated container.
- Vinification in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks and in casks made from regional oak.
- At least 24 months of cellar ageing.

- Ça Passe Tout Seul, also as a rosé.
- Le Cirque: 100% Meunier from the Cirque de Festigny, Extra Brut.
- Le Zèbre: half Meunier, half Chardonnay.
- Les Blancs du Flagot: 100% Chardonnay from the Flagot valley.
- Le Bois des Roches: aged in casks made from wood from the Festigny forest of that name.
- Les Aulnes, from the oldest field-blend vineyard, and L'Année 2017.
