Champagne Amyot is a family champagne house in Loches-sur-Ource (Côte des Bar), founded in 1930 and active in champagne production since 1936. The fourth generation (Bertrand and Vincent, with the help of cousin Roland) continues the heritage as Récoltant Manipulant, doing everything themselves from vineyard to bottle.
- History: The business has been in the hands of the Amyot family for generations; great-grandfather Roland sold the first bottles in 1936, followed by expansion by grandfather Robert. Today ten permanent staff work there and seasonal workers are hired for the harvest.
- Vineyards: The house owns 22 hectares of vineyards spread over the municipalities of Chacenay, Courteron, Essoyes and Loches-sur-Ource. The main grape varieties are Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc (of which a 100% cuvée has been sold since 2024).
- Approach: The viticulture is sustainable and certified with the High Environmental Value label (since 2019). The winemakers use integrated farming methods to minimise their ecological footprint and work with transparency in the cellar.
- Champagnes: Seven different cuvées are produced, including brut, demi-sec and rosé, available in standard bottles, magnums and half bottles. The house sells approximately 130,000 bottles per year and offers cellar visits and tastings by appointment.
