About Champagne Jacquesson
History Champagne Jacquesson is one of the oldest independent houses, founded in 1798 in Châlons-sur-Marne by Claude and Memmie Jacquesson. The house enjoyed great renown in the 19th century under the innovative Adolphe Jacquesson, who invented the modern muselet and expanded production considerably; Napoleon I awarded the house a gold medal in 1810.
