Dizy lies in the Marne department, in the Grande Vallée de la Marne, directly north of Épernay and between Aÿ and Hautvillers. The village has Premier Cru status.
- Vineyards: the south-facing slopes on chalk are planted with pinot noir, meunier and chardonnay. The vineyards run from the lower parts near the Marne and the canal up towards Champillon.
- Character: the champagnes combine the ripeness of the Grande Vallée with freshness and structure.
- Producers: Dizy is home to the house of Jacquesson, which became known for its single-plot cuvées. Alain Bernard also makes champagne here.
