About Champagne Jacques Busin
Jacques Busin is a family estate in Verzenay, a 100% grand cru village in the Montagne de Reims. The family has owned vineyards since the 17th century and has made its own champagnes since 1902; the estate is now run by the fourth generation. Since 2006, Emmanuel Busin, son of Jacques, has been at the helm. The estate is a member of the Vignerons Indépendants. The village of Verzenay
Verzenay lies in the Marne department, on the northern flank of the Montagne de Reims, south-east of Reims. The village has Grand Cru status. Vineyards: the largely north-facing slopes on chalk are planted predominantly with pinot noir, complemented by chardonnay.
