Troissy lies on the left bank of the Marne, between Épernay and Dormans, in the Marne department. The village has no cru status. It is a quiet, rural village where viticulture is carried mainly by small family businesses.
- Location: in the Vallée de la Marne Rive Gauche, on the slopes south of the river, near Mareuil-le-Port.
- Vineyards: meunier is the main grape, on soils with a lot of clay and marl; pinot noir and chardonnay are also grown.
- Wines: fruity, round champagnes that are characteristic of the meunier villages of the Marne valley.
- Producers: Charles Orban and Joly are based in Troissy.
