Saulchery is a small village on the Marne in the Aisne department, in the western part of the Vallée de la Marne, in the arrondissement of Château-Thierry. The commune has no cru status.
- Vineyards: the plots lie on the slopes of the Marne valley. As everywhere in this part of the valley, Pinot Meunier is the main grape.
- Character: the family businesses in the village make approachable, generous champagnes with a lively freshness.
- Producers: Bernard Figuet and Pierre Laurent are based here. Champagne Pierre Laurent welcomes visitors for a tour from vineyard to press, with a tasting.
