Mareuil-le-Port lies on the left bank of the Marne, between Épernay and Dormans, in the Marne department. The commune also includes several hamlets along the river. Mareuil-le-Port has no cru status.
- Location: in the Vallée de la Marne Rive Gauche, on the slopes south of the river.
- Vineyards: meunier is the main grape, on soils with a lot of clay and marl.
- Wines: fruity, round champagnes in which meunier sets the tone, sometimes complemented by pinot noir and chardonnay.
- Producers: the commune is home to Dehours & Fils, Harlin Père & Fils, M&S Jobert and Mathelin, among others.
