Landreville lies in the Aube department, in the Barséquanais in the Côte des Bar, south of Troyes, in the vicinity of Bar-sur-Seine and Essoyes. The village has no cru classification.
- Vineyards: as throughout the Côte des Bar, pinot noir is the main grape, planted on limestone-marl slopes, alongside chardonnay.
- Character: the champagnes are ripe, full and fruity.
- Producers: the best-known house is René Jolly, a family business that traces its roots back to the eighteenth century. The house works exclusively with grapes from its own vineyards, holds on to traditional methods such as riddling the bottles by hand, and besides pinot noir champagnes also makes cuvées with a notable proportion of chardonnay. The house of Royer is also based in Landreville.
