History and Working Methods
The house is run by Vincent Joudart and his wife, who work with passion and craftsmanship within the Trésors de Champagne. The working method is geared to sustainable viticulture with the highest environmental level (Haute Valeur Environnementale), in which chemical products are minimised in order to respect the terroir and the vines. The house offers cellar visits and tastings by appointment, in French and English.
Vineyards and Terroir
The 8-hectare vineyard lies on sunny slopes of Fèrebrianges with a clay-limestone soil. The grape varieties are distributed as follows:
- 45% Pinot Meunier: provides suppleness and fruitiness.
- 40% Chardonnay: delivers delicate aromas, flowers and citrus.
- 15% Pinot Noir: gives structure and red fruit notes.
Champagnes
The champagnes are produced entirely on the estate and are characterised by a classic, balanced style. Well-known cuvées are:
- Cuvée "Spécial Club": Vintages such as 2019 (43% Chardonnay, 43% Meunier, 14% Pinot Noir, dosage 5 g/L) and 2015 (dosage 5.5 g/L).
- Other cuvées: Brut Réserve, Brut Demi-sec, Blanc de Blancs millésime 2019, Blanc de Noirs millésime 2019, Brut Rosé de Saignée millésime 2020, and Brut Millésime 2018.
- Ratafia de Champagne: An authentic aperitif.
