Vineyards and Terroir
- The vineyards cover 13.5 hectares spread over five villages with Premier Cru status.
- The soil consists mainly of argilo-calcaire (clay-limestone) soils.
- The main grape varieties are Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
- The location in the Montagne de Reims gives the champagnes a characteristic freshness and minerality.
Approach
- The viticulture is organic and the grapes are harvested by hand.
- Indigenous fermentation processes and a minimal addition of sulphites are used.
- Vinification takes place in different types of vessels to emphasise the nuances of the grape varieties.
- The aim is to create elegant, fresh and mineral champagnes with a low dosage.
