Champagne Paul Dangin & Fils is a family business in Celles-sur-Ource, in the heart of the Côte des Bar in the far south of the Aube.
- History: In 1947 Paul Dangin decided to continue the quality work his father Joseph had begun in the 19th century, and founded the brand. The Cuvée '47 refers to that year.
- Vineyards and terroir: The family business covers 50 hectares, planted with Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Blanc.
- Approach and style: The estate is Terra Vitis-certified for environmentally friendly viticulture. The grapes are harvested exclusively by hand.
- Cuvées: The range includes Carte d'Or, Carte Noire, Cuvée '47 and a Prestige vintage. Les Sels Minéraux is a brut nature (zero dosage) made from 100% Pinot Noir, created in collaboration with the Italian wine merchant Tregalli.
