Champagne‌ Launois Père et Fils is a traditional champagne house founded in 1872 in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, on the prestigious Côte des Blancs. The house style is carried by eight generations of vignerons, with Séverine and Caroline Launois currently practising the craft.

History and Tradition The house has always remained true to the values of champagne vinification. The family owns an extensive collection of historic presses from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. The estate has a museum in the chalk pits, where the history and craft of champagne are presented.

Vineyards The vineyards cover approximately 30 hectares and are entirely classified as Grand Cru. They are located on the Côte des Blancs, known for the best Chardonnay grapes, with plantings of Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier as well. The estate produces approximately 200,000 bottles of champagne a year.

Winemaking The vinification combines tradition with modern technology. Stainless steel tanks are used for temperature control and oak barrels for ageing, which enhances the aromatic finesse. The estate regularly offers wine-tourism visits and tastings, and takes part in harvest activities.
