Champagne Jean Laurent is a récoltant-manipulant in Celles-sur-Ource, in the Côte des Bar in the Aube.
- History: The Laurent family has grown wine in Celles-sur-Ource for many generations.
- Vineyards and terroir: The Aube shares the chalky soils of the heart of Champagne and of Chablis. The estate is planted mainly with Pinot Noir, alongside Chardonnay.
- Approach and style: Jean Laurent makes his champagnes exclusively from his own vineyards. The bottles state the date of disgorgement.
- Cuvées: The Blanc de Noirs is the flagship, but the Blanc de Blancs Réserve has also been very successful; it is a multi-vintage blend aged for at least 36 months on the lees. There is also a Brut Rosé, as well as older vintages such as La Griffe de l'Ource Blanc de Blancs 1989.
