Champagne Jean Diot is a family grower estate (récoltant-manipulant) in Vinay, on the southern slopes near Épernay. The house motto is "Impassible n'est pas Diot".
- History: The estate was founded in 1960 by Jean and Monique Diot. In 1998 the next generation took over: the children brought the family vineyards together, set up a space to receive visitors and built a new building for the press and vat room. Today Jean-Philippe Diot runs the estate together with his sister Pascaline, her husband José and his wife Bénédicte.
- Approach and style: Everything is done in-house, from growing the grapes and pressing to labelling. Jean-Philippe Diot looks after the vineyard and vinification and also produces bespoke champagnes for professionals. The estate has also released a still white Coteaux Champenois 2015, in magnum.
- Cuvées: Premier Regard Brut, Esprit Libre Extra Brut, Magie Blanche Blanc de Blancs and the rosé Crayons de Vigne (55% Meunier, 30% Chardonnay, 15% Pinot Noir).
