JC‌ Ricciuti is a Franco-American family estate in Avenay-Val-d'Or. The story begins in the Second World War: the American GI Albert Ricciuti, who landed on Utah Beach on 6 June 1944, met the young winegrower and Resistance member Paulette Révolte during the liberation of Avenay-Val-d'Or. After almost twenty years of correspondence he settled in Champagne in 1963; together they founded Champagne Ricciuti Révolte. Albert became the first and only American récoltant-manipulant in Champagne. Their son John Charles, named after Kennedy and de Gaulle, has continued the work since 1981 under the JCR label.
