Champagne Gabriel-Pagin Fils is an independent winegrowing family in Avenay-Val-d'Or (Marne) that has produced champagnes since 1946. The three generations Roger, Pascal and Aurélien Gabriel run the business, which specialises in Premier Cru and Grand Cru champagnes.

• History: Roger Gabriel began in 1946 with the first harvest and vinification in Avenay-Val-d'Or. In 1984 Pascal Gabriel, together with his wife Marie-Catherine, took over the business, followed by oenologist Aurélien in 2011. The estate is a member of the Vignerons Indépendants de Champagne.
• Vineyards: The estate owns 9.5 hectares of vineyard divided over Premier Cru areas (Avenay-Val-d'Or, Mutigny, Cuis) and Grand Cru areas (Avize, Cramant). The grape varieties are 80% Pinot Noir, 18% Chardonnay and 2% Pinot Meunier, with an average vine age of 30 years.
• Method: The business follows natural oenology: traditional pressing, minimal treatment of the must, spontaneous alcoholic and malolactic fermentation with indigenous flora, and vinification in wood. The champagnes age for at least 36 months on the lees and are not filtered. Since 2014 the estate has been certified Haute Valeur Environnementale (HVE) level 3.
• Champagnes: The range includes the Carte d'Or (Blanc de Noirs, Brut), Grande Réserve (Premier Cru, Brut), Rosé (Premier Cru, 75% Pinot Noir/25% Pinot Meunier), and special cuvées such as Le Foudre de Pascal (Extra-Brut, 1 year in cask) and Millésime (Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs, 2 years in barriques).
