Champagne Dominique Boulard & Filles is a family estate in La Neuville-aux-Larris, in the Vallée de la Marne. According to old family archives, Dominique Boulard's ancestors were already growing vines here in 1792; his grandparents Julien and Sylvie were small growers running a mixed farm.
Vineyards Two kilometres from the village, near the hamlet « Le Hameau de Paradis », lies « La Vigne du Souvenir », the first vineyard his father planted in 1956. This very old vineyard gives low yields of great quality; its grapes go mainly into the prestige cuvées, including a rosé de macération. At harvest time Dominique Boulard sometimes waits a few extra days to benefit from more sunshine.
