Cheurlin-Dangin is a champagne house in Celles-sur-Ource, in the Côte des Bar. This is where the Cheurlin and Dangin families brought together their passion for champagne; the house has been making champagne for ten generations, passed from father to son. Today it is headed by Thomas Cheurlin.
Vineyards The vineyards are planted with Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay. The grapes are picked entirely by hand. The estate holds the Haute Valeur Environnementale (HVE) and Viticulture Durable en Champagne (VDC) labels, as well as the V-Label for vegan products.
Approach The champagnes age for several years in the cellar before being sold at full maturity. They are made from four grape varieties: Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Blanc. Every bottle is a blend of at least two harvests, which contributes to consistent quality.
Champagnes
- Carte Noire Brut and Carte Or (brut or demi-sec)
- Rosé and Cuvée Spéciale
- Christiane (blanc de noirs) and Florence (blanc de blancs)
- Origance (millésimé)
The house also sells ratafia, vieux marc champenois and wines from Chassagne-Montrachet and Santenay.
