Champagne Bouquet is an independent wine house (Vigneron Indépendant) that has been producing champagnes for five generations in Châtillon-sur-Marne, located in the heart of the Vallée de la Marne. The current house is run by Cécile Bouquet, who passes on the family's passion and craftsmanship to her guests.
The vineyards cover approximately 6 hectares on clay-limestone slopes and are mainly planted with Meunier (typical of the region), supplemented with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The house produces approximately 25,000 bottles per year, making the champagnes entirely themselves from A to Z, from grape to bottle, to preserve the authentic characteristics of the terroir.
The champagnes are aged in the cellars for at least 24 months, resulting in fruity, exuberant and intense wines. The range includes the Brut Réserve (Meunier 45%, Pinot Noir 28%, Chardonnay 27%), Demi-Sec, La Belle Notoire, Brut Millésime, Cuvée Opaline and Brut Rosé. Visitors can visit the estate for tours and tastings, with opening hours generally from 10:30-12:00 and 14:00-17:30.
