Champagne Batisse Lancelot is a family business in Les Riceys (Champagne, France), located at 4 Place des Héros de la Résistance. The house has been run by four generations; founders André Batisse and Françoise Lancelot began producing their own champagne in 1972.
Vineyards and Terroir
- The vineyards cover approximately 5 hectares and lie on both sides of the Les Riceys terroir.
- The average age of the vines is 40 years.
- The grape varieties are 75% Pinot Noir, 20% Chardonnay and 5% Pinot Blanc.
Approach
- The house is certified HVE (Haute Valeur Environnementale) and works according to sustainable viticulture principles.
- They combine traditional methods with modernity, with the champagnes ageing slowly in the cellars.
- They are affiliated with Champagnes de Vignerons and won gold at the Concours Mani-Viti 2021.

- Brut Tradition: 70% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay; fruity with fresh notes.
- Cuvée Prestige: 50% Pinot Noir, 50% Chardonnay; balanced and aromatic.
- Brut Rosé: 100% Pinot Noir, made using the saignée method.
- Ratafia: Liqueur based on grape must and alcohol.
