Champagne Alain Bergère is a small wine house with a family history going back to 1636, based in Mont-Saint-Père (Aisne) and Étoges (Marne). The estate manages approximately 15 hectares of scattered plots, with an emphasis on Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and the rare Petit Meslier.
- Vineyards and Terroir: The vineyards are located in the Marne and the Marne Valley, ranging from chalky to clay soils with diverse microclimates. This diversity allows the grapes to fully develop their specific character.
- Approach: The house combines traditional methods with modern hygiene and quality controls. The wine style is sustainable and ecologically conscious, with minimal intervention during vinification to preserve the expression of the terroir.
- Champagnes: The range includes both non-vintage and vintage champagnes, such as the Brut Réserve, Blanc de Blancs and special cuvées with Petit Meslier. The champagnes are praised for their authenticity, finesse and the character of their origin.
