About Champagne Gabriel Boutet
Gabriel Boutet is a small family house in Cumières, in the Vallée de la Marne, close to Hautvillers and Épernay. The Boutet brand was founded in 1896 by two brothers who had come to Champagne from the Creuse in 1860. After the death of Gabriel Boutet in 1971, his son-in-law Claude Millet began selling his entire production himself. The village of Cumieres
Cumières lies on the right bank of the Marne, just west of Hautvillers and opposite Épernay, in the Grande Vallée de la Marne (Marne department). The village has Premier Cru status.
