Champagne​‌​ de Barfontarc is the brand of the Coopérative de la Région de Baroville in Baroville, in the Côte des Bar. The cooperative was founded on 17 February 1962 by some fifty growers from Baroville, Fontaine and Arconville to share pressing; the brand name is made up of the first syllables of those three villages. Baroville is a wine village in the Côte des Bar, in the Aube department, a few kilometres from Bar-sur-Aube and a short distance from the former Cistercian abbey of Clairvaux.
