About Champagne Caillez-Lemaire
Champagne Caillez-Lemaire is an independent family business in Damery (Vallée de la Marne), founded in 1942 by Raymond Caillez and Andrée Lemaire, children of winegrowing families dating back to the 18th century. Since 2005 the estate has been run by their granddaughter Virginie Caillez and her husband Laurent Vanpoperinghe. The village of Damery
Damery is a wine village in the Marne department (51), on the right bank of the Marne, a few kilometres west of Épernay and Cumières. It belongs to the Vallée de la Marne Rive Droite terroir and has no cru status. Vineyards: the vines grow on the south-facing slopes above the Marne.
