About Champagne Briaux Lenique
Briaux Lenique is a récoltant-manipulant in Mardeuil, in the Vallée de la Marne, three kilometres from Épernay. The brand was founded in 1965 by Pol Briaux and Christiane Lenique; today their daughters Nathalie and Stéphanie, who changed careers at forty, run the estate. Vineyards 4 hectares spread over 21 parcels on clay-limestone slopes around Mardeuil. Plantings: half Pinot Meunier, 30% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir. Mardeuil lies in the Marne department, on the left bank of the Marne, directly west of Épernay. The village has no cru classification.
