Puisieulx is a small village in the Marne department, a few kilometres south-east of Reims, on the north-eastern edge of the Montagne de Reims, near Sillery. The village has Grand Cru status.
- Vineyards: the vineyard area is modest. Both pinot noir and chardonnay are grown on a very chalk-rich, light and well-draining subsoil, partly with clay and loam over hard limestone.
- Character: the champagnes are fresh and mineral, with a taut, chalky tone. Both blanc de blancs and blanc de noirs are made from Puisieulx.
Puisieulx is one of the lesser-known Grand Cru villages. A few producers release champagnes with Puisieulx Grand Cru on the label, such as Aurore Casanova with separate cuvées of chardonnay and of pinot noir from the village.
