Essômes-sur-Marne is a wine village in the Aisne department (02), directly west of Château-Thierry, on the Marne. It belongs to the western part of the Vallée de la Marne and has no cru status.
- Location: the village is known for its Gothic abbey church of Saint-Ferréol, a remnant of the former abbey.
- Vineyards: the vines grow on the slopes above the Marne, on clay, marl and sand over limestone. As everywhere in the Aisne, meunier is the main grape.
