Brasles is a wine village in the Aisne department (02), directly adjoining Château-Thierry, on the slopes of the Marne valley. It falls within the western part of the Vallée de la Marne and has no cru status.
- Vineyards: as in the rest of the Aisne, meunier is the main grape here. The soils consist mainly of clay, marl and sand over limestone.
- Character: the champagnes are fruity and approachable, with the suppleness of meunier.
- Producers: the village is home to Philippe Dechelle, among others.
The vineyards of Brasles connect with those of the surrounding villages around Château-Thierry, such as Essômes-sur-Marne, Azy-sur-Marne and Bonneil.
