Beaumont-sur-Vesle is a Grand Cru village on the eastern edge of the Montagne de Reims, in the Marne department. It lies on the Vesle, south-east of Reims, and is one of the seventeen communes with Grand Cru status.
- Location: on the transition between the Montagne de Reims and the plain along the Vesle, near Verzenay and Sillery.
- Vineyards: the vineyard area is modest in size and lies on chalk soil. Pinot noir predominates, alongside chardonnay.
- Wines: the grapes provide structure and ripe fruit, and are often used in the blends of larger houses.
- Producers: there are no well-known champagne brands based in the village itself; the grapes go largely to houses and cooperatives in the surrounding area.
