Trichet-Lorain is a small family estate in Montbré, in the Montagne de Reims, the village where ancestor Jean-Baptiste Trichet settled two and a half centuries ago. His descendant Bruno Trichet, a récoltant-coopérateur and the 8th generation, took over the family vines in 1996, the year of the couple's first harvest. Since 2005 they have been making their own champagnes, in a spirit of conviviality and authenticity.
Vineyards Three grape varieties are grown: Meunier, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The vineyards are certified Viticulture Durable en Champagne and HVE. For the Esprit Brut the grapes come from Rilly-la-Montagne, Montbré, Taissy, Trois-Puits and Villers-Allerand.
