Champagne​‌​ Telmont is a family business in Damery (Vallée de la Marne) that was founded in 1912 by Henri Lhôpital. The fourth generation, Bertrand and Pascale Lhôpital, runs the maison, which since 2020 has been 51% owned by Rémy Cointreau (with Leonardo DiCaprio as a minority shareholder).

• History: Henri Lhôpital founded the house after the wine revolt of 1911. His son André gave the house the name J. de Telmont in 1947, after an important vineyard. The logo honours André's service in the 2nd cuirassier regiment.
• Vineyards: The estate owns 36 hectares of its own vineyards (mainly in Damery, Boursault and Verneuil) and works with partners for 55 hectares. The soil is argilo-calcaire. Telmont is Regenerative Organic Certified® and aims for 100% organic and regenerative farming by 2031.
• Working methods: The grapes are harvested by hand and the must is vinified in stainless steel tanks. Telmont uses an extremely low sugar content (2.5-4.2 g/l vs. an average of 6-12 g/l) and few sulphites (50 mg/l vs. an average of 150 mg/l).
• Champagnes:
• Grande Réserve: Brut sans année (1/3 Chardonnay, 1/3 Pinot Noir, 1/3 Pinot Meunier).
• Grand Vintage: Millésime (40% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Meunier, 20% Pinot Noir).
• Grand Couronnement: Prestige cuvée (Blanc de Blancs, Chardonnay from Grand Crus).
• O.R. 1735: Second prestige cuvée (Blanc de Blancs, Chardonnay from Avize and Chouilly).
• Réserve de la Terre: First organic cuvée.
• Cuvée Insolite: Still wine (vin tranquille) from chardonnay.
