Luc Mojard is a family estate in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, a grand cru village in the heart of the Côte des Blancs, some fifteen kilometres south of Épernay. The estate was founded in 1985 by Luc Mojard, then a young winegrower; two years later his wife Véronique joined him. The few ares of vines worked at the start have grown steadily, and sales have expanded too. Their son Maxime is preparing to carry on the family business.
Champagnes The cuvées are largely made from Chardonnay:
- Brut Réserve: Chardonnay from several grand cru villages of the Côte des Blancs
- Le Mesnil Brut: Chardonnay solely from Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, aged at least three years
- Extra Brut: Chardonnay from Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, with a low dosage
- Rosé: Chardonnay with Pinot Noir vinified as red wine, from grand cru
- Millésime 2010, made only in the best years
Visits by appointment only.
