Leclère-Pointillart‌ is a family-run business in Écueil (Premier Cru, Montagne de Reims), founded in 1947 by Jules Brochet and now run by Guillaume Leclère as the fourth generation.

History: The name Leclère-Pointillart arose in 1978 from the merger of the Leclère and Pointillart families. Guillaume Leclère works the historic plots of his great-grandfather Jules with respect for tradition.
Vineyards: The estate covers 9 hectares spread over seven villages, with 80% Pinot Noir, 15% Chardonnay and 5% Pinot Meunier on argilo-calcareous soil. The average age of the vineyards is 35 years, with vines up to 65 years old.
Winemaking: The grapes are harvested by hand and pressed. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks to preserve fruit purity, followed by malolactic fermentation. The champagnes age for at least 2 years for non-vintage and 5-10 years for vintage cuvées. The cultivation follows la lutte raisonnée (balanced pest control).
Champagnes: The range includes Tradition, Sélection, Rosé, Millésime, Blanc de Blancs, Nature and Prestige. The style is described as fin, frais, élégant (fine, fresh, elegant) with structure and fruitiness.
