Champagne J.M. Gobillard & Fils is a family house in Hautvillers, the village on the Marne where Dom Pérignon worked at the abbey.
- History: The story began in 1933, when Gervais Gobillard bought around a hectare in Hautvillers and launched his own brand, at a time when mainly the large houses profited from champagne. His son Jean-Marie also started a vine nursery and expanded the estate to eight hectares. The house is still run by the family.
- Vineyards and terroir: The family owns vineyards around Épernay, much of it premier cru, part of which once belonged to the Benedictine abbey of Hautvillers. Grapes are also sourced from other growers. The business holds HVE (Haute Valeur Environnementale) certification.
- Approach and style: The family cellar lies directly opposite the abbey of Hautvillers.
- Cuvées: The range includes a Brut Tradition, a Blanc de Blancs, the Cuvée 6 Extra Brut Premier Cru and the Cuvée Prestige Millésimé, also as a rosé.
