Champagne Gaston Révolte is a family house in Avenay-Val-d'Or, a premier cru village on the edge of the Montagne de Reims.
- History: Gaston Révolte married into a winegrowing family from Avenay and put his name on the label in 1963. His son Hubert and Hubert's wife Hélène later ran the estate. The third generation, Nicolas and Alexandre Révolte, is now in charge.
- Vineyards and terroir: The estate farms seven hectares of premier cru vineyards, planted with 90% pinot noir and 10% chardonnay.
- Approach and style: Since 2006 the soil has again been worked with a horse, which is unusual in Champagne and limits soil compaction.
- Cuvées: The range includes the Brut Tradition, the Rosé Eglantine, Le Don de la Mer and the Cuvée du 3ème Millénaire made from chardonnay.
