Champagne G. Richomme is a family estate in Barbonne-Fayel, in the Sézannais in the south of the Marne, active since 1945.
- History: The estate has been making champagne since 1945.
- Vineyards and terroir: The family farms around 11 hectares, mostly planted with chardonnay, in keeping with the character of the Côte de Sézanne.
- Approach and style: Vinification is traditionally carried out in stainless steel tanks or oak barrels, and more recently also in terracotta vessels. Reserve wines from earlier years are used for the non-vintage cuvées.
- Cuvées: A well-known wine is La Fusionnelle, a blanc de blancs brut in which the base wine of one harvest is complemented by reserve wines from the two previous years; it is also available in magnum. Other cuvées include La Terre Forgée and Les Courbes de Marguerite.
