Champagne Forget-Brimont is a family house in Craon-de-Ludes, in the Montagne de Reims.
- History: An ancestor, Louis, planted the first vineyards in the area at the beginning of the nineteenth century. In the 1920s the Forget family began making its own champagnes. Owner and winemaker Michel Forget has worked since 2000 in partnership with Frédéric Jorez, the son of a grower from the same village.
- Vineyards and terroir: The vineyards lie largely in premier and grand cru villages of the Montagne de Reims, with grand cru holdings in Mailly-Champagne, Verzenay and Verzy and premier cru holdings in villages including Chigny-les-Roses, Ludes, Montbré, Sermiers, Taissy and Villers-Allerand. Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier are grown.
- Approach and style: The non-vintage champagnes are blends of several harvests and are aged for at least two years before release. The vintage champagnes are aged longer, between three and ten years.
- Cuvées: The range includes the Brut Premier Cru, Blanc de Blancs Premier Cru, Rosé Premier Cru and Demi-Sec Premier Cru.
