Champagne Erick Schreiber is a biodynamically farmed estate in Courteron, in the Côte des Bar in the south of Champagne, near Bar-sur-Seine.
- History: Erick Schreiber established himself as a winemaker in the early 1980s and gradually built up his estate over the course of that decade.
- Vineyards and terroir: The estate farms around 6.5 hectares of vines, certified by Demeter. Its plots lie in Courteron and Gyé-sur-Seine, among other places, on clay-limestone soils with a Kimmeridgian influence.
- Approach and style: Schreiber is known for cuvées with a clear expression of terroir and for low-intervention experiments, including a line made without added sulphites. Several wines are aged for a long time on their lees.
- Cuvées: The range includes Initial (brut and rosé), Essentiel (brut and extra brut), the vintage wines Fleur de Lune, Terre d'Origine, Astral and Blanc de Gris, and the MK15720 series with a Blanc de Blancs, a Blanc de Noirs and a rosé.
