Champagne Denis Coqueret is a wine house in Bragelogne-Beauvoir (Côte des Bar, France), focused on direct sales of HVE-certified champagnes.
History Winegrowing began in 1990 in the commune of Bragelogne. In 1994 the estate became a récoltant manipulant (R.M.) and began its own vinification, partly using oak barrels.
Vineyards The vineyards lie on Kimmeridgian clay-limestone soils on the slopes of Bragelogne and Les Riceys. The planting density is 8,500 to 9,000 vines per hectare. The grape varieties are mainly Pinot Noir and a smaller share of Chardonnay.
Method The estate follows integrated pest-management protocols without herbicides, with mechanical and manual upkeep. The operation holds the national HVE level 3 certification (Haute Valeur Environnementale).
Champagnes The range includes, among others:
- Blanc de Blancs
- Brut Tradition
- Rosé
- Magnums
