Champagne Alexandre Grimée is a small estate in the Vallée de la Marne, based in Azy-sur-Marne, devoted to pinot meunier from the village of Bonneil.
- History: Alexandre Grimée, born in 1988, launched his own champagne brand in 2010.
- Vineyards and terroir: The estate comprises around one hectare. The main plots lie in Bonneil, where exposure and micro-terroirs favour pinot meunier; there is also a small plot in Romeny-sur-Marne.
- Approach and style: Alexandre Grimée handles both vineyard and cellar work himself and intervenes as little as possible, letting terroir and vintage speak. The wines have been certified organic since 2023.
- Cuvées: The cuvées bear the name of the village and the vintage, such as Bonneil Corpus, a blanc de noirs brut nature from four plots, and Sous les Trous, a 100% pinot meunier champagne from Bonneil.
