About Champagne Verrier & Fils
Verrier & Fils is a family estate in Étoges, between Épernay and Sézanne. The Verrier family have been growers from father to son since 1860, now over five generations. The family used to sell still wines; in 1929 Raymond Verrier created the champagne brand. His son Francis joined in 1958, and in 1992 Emmanuel Verrier took over the running of the vineyard, planting more Chardonnay and modernising the facilities. The village of Etoges
Étoges lies in the Marne department, in the valley of the Petit Morin, between Épernay and Sézanne, on the south-western side of the Côte des Blancs. The village has no cru classification.
