About Champagne Vauversin
History The Vauversin family has been active in Oger since 1640, when Nicolas de Vauversin owned vineyards. In 1930 Fernand Vauversin began commercial champagne production, instead of selling grapes to the large houses. The house is currently run by Laurent Vauversin (fourth generation to produce champagne) and his father Bruno. The village of Oger
Oger is a Grand Cru village in the Côte des Blancs, in the Marne department, south of Épernay. It lies between Avize and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, in the heart of the most famous chardonnay slope in Champagne.
