Champagne Claude Beaufort is a family estate in Ambonnay, founded in 1908 and now in the hands of the fourth generation. Arnaud runs the business and makes his champagne under the name of his father, Claude Beaufort. Vineyards Ambonnay lies in the Côte des Grands Noirs of the Montagne de Reims and has been a grand cru village since the cru classification of 1895. The village of Ambonnay
Ambonnay lies on the south-eastern flank of the Montagne de Reims, between Bouzy and Condé-sur-Marne, in the Marne department. The village is one of the seventeen Grand Cru communes of Champagne.
