About Champagne Bardoux Père & Fils
Bardoux Père & Fils is a winegrowing family in Villedommange, a Premier Cru village on the Montagne de Reims, some 9 km south-west of Reims. The line of winegrowers dates back to 1684, with the birth of Pierre Bardoux. From 1929 the wine was made into champagne, at the initiative of Jules and Prudent Bardoux, who created the brand. Ville-Dommange lies in the Petite Montagne de Reims, south-west of Reims (Marne department). The village has Premier Cru status. Vineyards: the slopes consist of chalk with layers of sand and clay.
