Étréchy is a small wine village in the Marne department (51), on the southern tip of the Côte des Blancs, south of Épernay, near Bergères-lès-Vertus. It falls within the Val du Petit Morin terroir.
- Cru: Étréchy has Premier Cru status.
- Vineyards: the vineyard area is small and planted entirely with chardonnay. The vines lie on a gentle, south-west-facing slope outside the village, on chalky soil.
- Character: chardonnay gives fresh champagnes in the style of the southern Côte des Blancs, somewhat rounder than those from the northern Grand Cru villages.
Étréchy lies on the transition from the Côte des Blancs to the Val du Petit Morin, a quiet rural area with scattered vineyards among fields and woods.
